| Deben have recently extended their range of tensile/compression stages specifically for X-ray CT tomography applications with the addition of a compact 500N unit for the smallest X-ray tomography enclosures.
Top jaws are supported on a tube allowing 360⁰ clear line of sight through the sample when rotated. To operate the top jaw is driven down and the bottom jaw is driven up using a DC motor with precision ground ball-screws, this keeps the centre of the sample at the beam-line position when under load. |
